    Heart Care has been helping the communities of Walsall and Sutton Coldfield for over 30 years and are experts in cardiac rehabilitation. We started with an exercise bike in Walsall college and over the years we have helped thousands of people to recover from heart and lung disease.

What to do in an emergency

If you experience any chest tightness/discomfort/pain, or symptoms similar to your Heart Attack/previous Angina, please follow 1. If your Chest Pain is unbearable Dial 999 for an ambulance Otherwise – • Sit down and stay calm • If the pain does not ease after 30-60 seconds Take GTN (spray or tablets) • Wait 5 minutes • If the pain has gone – REST • If not repeat the GTN •Wait 5 more minutes AFTER 10 MINUTES AND TWO GTN SPRAYS - IF YOU ARE STILL IN PAIN DIAL 999 Read more
