Tribute to Chris Blakemore

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our former patient and Trustee Chris Blakemore.

Chris was a Trustee at Heart Care (Walsall and Healthy Living Trust) for over 20 years and in his time with us held both the positions of Chairman and Treasurer over a number of years. He was always supportive of the Trust, and due to his own personal health issues accessed the use of the gym. He was a true gentleman and very caring, not only supporting Heart Care but supporting many other community roles, including School Governor and a highly regarded member of Aldridge Rotary Club, supporting the stroke awareness day for many years.

Chris leaves behind a loving wife Pam, (who also volunteered for Heart Care) and a loving family and we send our deepest sympathies to them at this very sad time. We are so greatful for Chris and Pam's support to our charity over the years and Chris will be greatly missed by everyone at Heart Care.
