Heart Support Group Celebration

We recently attended the British Heart Foundation Heart Support Group afternoon tea to celebrate our Heart Support Group.

Our Heart Support Group aims to help support patients in their recovery by putting on talks, activities and events for them to enjoy.

Sarah Gittoes, Rina Guddu & Alan Dainty were invited by the British Heart Foundation to a delightful afternoon tea at the Leopold Hotel in Sheffield. They met with other Heart Support Groups across the UK and also received a presentation from Professor Julian Gunn who spoke about his research into virtual tools to detect heart patients needing stents.

Alan has been helping and supporting our Heart Support Group for over 20 years and he thoroughly enjoyed the celebration afternoon tea!

What to do in an emergency

If you experience any chest tightness/discomfort/pain, or symptoms similar to your Heart Attack/previous Angina, please follow 1.
