Heart Start Event

HUGE THANK YOU TO ALDRIDGE ROTARY FOR DONATING £680.00 AT HEART START EVENT!

A Heart Start event was put on at Walsall Rotary club recently which raised money for Heart Care Healthy Living. Paul Boden, one of our Senior Exercise Physiologists supported this Rotary event which provided important information and messages on the heart, heart attacks and cardiac arrest.

We are also indebted to Dan Higgins from Healthcare Education and Skills Training HES Training for supplying a Trainer (Kirsty McCarren) at no charge to provide basic life saving skills including CPR training and Defibrillator demonstrations. The event was attended by over 40 Rotarians and guests.

A massive thank you to Aldridge Rotary (especially President Sally Roberts and Brian Wheat) for your amazing donation and for highlighting such an important topic that affects so many in our community.
