Amers Kudhail a 45-year-old company director and patient at Heart Care suffered a heart attack in March 2019, forcing him to leave his role as councillor for Streetly.  He came to Heart Care Healthy Living and was so pleased with the care he received with his rehabilitation he said Heart Care was the first charity he thought of to help!

Amers said “My father Awtar died of a heart attack aged 42 when I was just six, then just a few months after my heart attack, my brother Juggy suffered one himself. “Heart Care are a charity which has been overlooked in the past and with heart attacks being more prevalent than ever, I decided to raise funds for them as they are literally very close to my heart.”

Amers had the idea to climb Snowdon from his wife Jinn and his sons Ayden and Ethan while they helped him with his recovery. Amers walked up the iconic mountain in Wales recently with members of his family and said it was really hard work but he was determined to do it!
