high blood pressure you should have it taken more frequently.

- For healthy adults: Target: 160/90
- For adults with coronary heart disease: Target: 140/80
- For adults with diabetes: Target: 130/80

If your blood pressure is high on three separate occasions, your doctor may consider prescribing medication.
